Set it up once. Run your job search.

The extension now has Dashboard, Config, Filters, Logs, Captures, Applied and About you tabs. Upload your CV and cover letter, save your facts, enable SEEK, LinkedIn or Indeed, then start a search from its Dashboard.

• Choose your mode: automatic submission, approval before each application, or a test that fills forms without submitting.
• Control your search: work type, workplace, distance, posted date and supported pay filters, with separate settings for each board.
• Keep checking: optional repeat searches every 15 minutes, hour, four hours, 12 hours or day, with a device-wide daily submission limit.
• Personalize documents for free: create PDFs locally using your supplied CV facts and cover-letter template. Preview an example before starting. Local customization is based on keywords and templates; it is not AI rewriting.
• See the result: on-page progress, local activity logs, failure details and CSV export. Confirmed receipts are separate from attempts.

Indeed search supports its Australia, USA, UK, Canada and New Zealand domains. Its adapter opens supported SmartApply flows after checking the job and company. Employer redirects and other custom forms can need your help. Browser alarms may be delayed during sleep; this does not run when the browser is closed. Watch mode pauses when a queue needs attention. Live submissions to real employers remain unverified.

Upload once. Apply from the extension.

1. Open Shogir from Chrome or Edge’s extensions menu and select About you.
2. Add your CV / resume and cover letter as PDF or DOCX files, up to 5 MB each.
3. Check the contact details read from your CV, add any missing answers and choose Save details on this device.
4. Enable SEEK, LinkedIn or Indeed and sign in to those boards in the same browser.
5. Enter your job title and location in the extension. Choose up to 10, 20 or 30 jobs, check Config and Filters, confirm the search and select Start auto-apply.

The extension searches and applies sequentially using the same uploaded files for your matching jobs. You can close its popup; keep Chrome or Edge open. This mode does not require the website’s long profile form, a Shogir account or AI requests. Jobs with required missing answers pause for your help. For one job, open its application form and use Inspect current application, then Apply with my saved documents.

Your files stay encrypted in this browser for reuse. Reading their text is free and happens on your device. Scanned or password-protected files may need pasted text. Work rights, salary expectations and other facts absent from your documents are never guessed. Remove or replace saved files in the extension.

Install or update

Chrome Web Store listing: not published yet. Until Google approves the public listing, use the manual download below.

1. Download the ZIP and extract it into a folder.
2. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions. In Edge, use edge://extensions.
3. Turn on Developer mode. Choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
4. Pin Shogir using the browser’s extensions menu. To update, replace the files in your existing extracted folder with v0.11.2, then press Reload on the extension card.

The extension needs access to job sites you explicitly enable and browser storage for your details and attempt history. Your batch PDFs stay in this browser and are cleared when the queue finishes, is discarded, or expires. A PDF session expires after 24 hours. Optional AI screening answers stay off until you choose them in the extension. Read our extension privacy policy. It does not contain your OpenAI key.

Search & auto-apply from Shogir

1. Install or update the extension. Open it and choose Enable SEEK or Enable LinkedIn.
2. Sign in to the job boards in this same Chrome or Edge browser.
3. Open Application control. Save your profile and approve a CV and cover-letter template in the document settings.
4. Enter a job title and location, select the approved documents and authorize up to 10, 20 or 30 matching jobs.
5. Choose Search & auto-apply. Keep Shogir open during search and document preparation. The extension then opens eligible applications one by one. Use Find jobs to review first if you want to pick the results yourself.

The search reads up to three available result pages per board and skips local confirmed duplicates and your excluded titles or companies. LinkedIn searches use the Easy Apply filter. External employer redirects need separate handling. A batch can contain fewer jobs than your target. This is a bounded search in your browser, not a public feed of every listing on either board.

Prepare a batch on your website

Go to the Job Board, choose a batch of 10, 20 or 30 jobs and complete your profile. Use approved CV rules without AI requests, or choose the existing AI generation service. Each role receives its own CV PDF and cover-letter PDF, then starts the exact queue you authorize. On first use, Chrome requires you to allow the selected application sites from the extension popup. Later authorized batches can start directly from Shogir. Turn Automatic off if you prefer to review every draft before submission. Keep the browser open; unsupported forms, missing facts, employer agreements and CAPTCHA can still pause a job.

Version 0.11.2 is required. After replacing the extracted files, reload the extension and refresh your website tab. Use the same Chrome or Edge browser for both. Permission is requested only for supported job domains in your selected queue.

Application control

Open Application control to import job links, answer shared questions, save CV rules, set your unavailable times and prepare employer replies. Confirmed receipts are recorded separately from attempts. Use Save this batch to keep drafts in your account, and Restore saved batch after a refresh. Queue PDFs stay encrypted on this device for up to 24 hours across browser restarts; use Restore documents if they expire. Unknown submission results must be checked before any retry. Email reply drafts are copied by you; this feature does not connect to your inbox.

Or submit one selected application

1. Upload your CV and cover letter directly in the extension. Alternatively, import an exported professional profile.
2. Open an employer’s actual application form. Sign in if required.
3. Check the extracted details and saved filenames. Fill missing facts once and save them for reuse.
4. Select Inspect current application. Check the employer, job and details.
5. Authorize this selected job once, then select Apply with my saved documents. Supported adapters advance through steps and submit without another confirmation. Review the saved documents and answers first.
6. If it stops, complete the missing fields or CAPTCHA yourself. Inspect again before continuing.

Check the result: “Confirmed” requires a recognised confirmation on the page. “Attempted” means a click was sent but receipt was not verified. Check the page or your email before retrying.

SEEK, LinkedIn and Indeed support

GPT-6 Astra can match unanswered questions to facts in your imported profile. Enable it in the extension and sign in to this site in the same Chrome or Edge browser. The API key stays on the server; 10 Astra question requests per account per day are available. CV and cover-letter generation keep their existing model.

This preview is tested against controlled sample forms, not verified across live employer sites. Indeed SmartApply and SEEK have adapters based on inspected live screens, including SEEK’s au.seek.com address. They advance through supported steps and automatically submit the job you authorize. Final submission has not been tested against a real employer. LinkedIn Easy Apply now has a dedicated English-language adapter with job-title and employer checks, saved-answer filling, reviewed PDF upload, step navigation and receipt tracking. Use the extension’s uploaded-file search or Application control for LinkedIn batches. It has been tested on controlled sample forms; live employer submission remains unverified. LinkedIn uses saved facts and confirmed answers; optional Astra question assistance remains limited to SEEK and Indeed. Other platforms retain generic single-page support. The queue runs one application at a time and opens the next job only after a confirmed receipt. If a job needs input, sign-in, CAPTCHA or review, the queue pauses on that job instead of opening more jobs. Extension searches reuse your uploaded files; website preparation can create a separate PDF pair for each role. Destination changes, consent controls and unsupported forms need the user. It never retries an unverified submission automatically. Live employer submissions remain unverified. Embedded forms and custom controls may need manual completion.
